Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) B.Tech Engineering Chemistry Notes PDFs for All Branches (CSE/ME/CE/EE/IT/ECE)

Engineering B.Tech. The fundamentals of chemistry and engineering are combined in a specialised course called chemistry. Students who complete this course will have a solid grounding in the basics of chemical engineering, including process engineering, materials science, and thermodynamics. Graduates of the B.Tech Engineering Chemistry programme can use their knowledge and abilities in a variety of fields, including petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and environmental management.

A solid foundation in chemical engineering concepts and their industrial applications is what the B.Tech Engineering Chemistry curriculum aims to give students. The curriculum is broken up into four years, with a number of core and optional courses in each year.

Course Objectives:

1. To give students knowledge of green chemistry, the chemistry of advanced materials such liquid crystals, nanomaterials, graphite, and fullerenes.
2. To enable students to comprehend and use the intricate ideas of stereochemistry and spectroscopic methods to identify compounds, elements, etc.
3. To give the students the knowledge and skills necessary to comprehend and apply the theories behind electrochemistry, batteries, corrosion, and the chemistry of building materials like cement.
4. To make it possible for the students to comprehend and implement in-depth ideas about the water supply, water pollutants, water hardness, boiler problems employed in industry, as well as coal analysis and calculating calorific values.
